#ThingsILoveThursday: LONG Weekends, Narrow Collective, Tevas, and more...
It's a short week for this one! We are off work for Good Friday, and luckily we have some Good Friends rolling in to visit for the weekend. One of our friends (pictured above left) is someone I actually met during my yoga training in Nicaragua. This will be the first time seeing her since that incredible month. It will be cool to see how we both are 'in real life'. What I mean is, in Nicaragua we were such a raw, stripped down version of ourselves. In our 'normal' lives, we add back in the city, day jobs, makeup, fashion, and other bits that didn't matter one damn bit in Nica.
Hmm... perhaps she already knows how I am in real life. Nica had us in our truest and most honest forms. She's seen me cry like no one else has in the world. She's heard some of my deepest thoughts that I didn't even know I had inside of me. When you take away all of the external things, what's left underneath must be the realest piece of us. Food for thought. Now onto........

[WHAT] This article on 'Healthy Imbalance' by Serene Social Co-Founder Tegan Bukowski [WHY] Because it's also important to embrace the imbalances. If you want to take a break from yoga and green smoothies, and instead sit on your couch, binge-watch The Walking Dead, while eating ice-cream then rock on with your bad self.
