delicious asian tea with amazing health benefits

This tea is a staple in the Korean diet. Since I am half Korean, I was introduced to it at a young age, but I did not begin drinking it regularly until just recently.

Barley Tea or "boricha" (in Korean), is naturally caffeine free, delicious, and has a long list of health benefits. Korean families drink boricha all day long instead of just pure water. Even babies transition from a mother's breast milk to boricha once they are able.

You can drink it hot or cold and you can find it at your local H-Mart (Korean grocery store) or on For those who aren't typically tea drinkers, I highly recommend giving this a try. It has a refreshing roasted "woodsy" flavor that I absolutely love. Since I have been drinking boricha on a regular basis, I have felt so clean and refreshed!
